We loved this story of Saint Cecilia, the kids have requested to hear it many times now. We love all the Saint stories we’ve heard!
My nieces have been asking for this one since they heard the preview on another glory story. While I’m not a fan of the commercials at the end of the cd’s, I do love the detail and dramatization of these products. So my solution is purchasing the download versions from now on and burning them to a disc myself and just leaving off the last track! My nieces have listened to it more than a dozen times this past week and we added the coloring pages to bring to our parish’s annual St Cecilia concert to keep their little hands busy. We appreciate having these quality stories to inspire their young hearts and imaginations.
My grandchildren are enjoying these Glory Stories as much as my children did! What a blessing y'all have been to our lives!
I was thrilled with Glory Story Vol 5 and I can't wait to collect them all!
I ordered this after the kids and I listened to the CD of Blessed Imelda and St. Juan Diego and they had played a preview of St. Cecilia. My 5yo son kept asking if could get "volume 5". Both stories of the saints were very well done; they held my and my son's attention! And the interview at the end by Jake and his mom of St. Kateri's intercession was amazing to say the least! Glory Stories has really inspired me in learning more about the saints and their uniqueness in how they showed their love of Christ but even more important for me is this has opened a door for my children to capture their interest in learning about the saints and their love for the Lord!
I loved them so much I buy them for all my God Children

After getting Vol 1 where they share a bit of the St Cecilia story my daughter had to have this Volume too. I was a bit worried about my 3 year old who scares easily listening to this story but the way these stories are told even about Martyrs are not told in a scary way and talk about how great it is to go to Heaven to join God and Jesus that even my 3 year old enjoyed it. The interview at the end about the process of canonizing a Saint is so interesting for Mom and Dad too. Great addition. We never know what to expect. We will keep collecting these until we have them all.
