Holy Heroes
Striving to Win the Heavenly Crown

To produce Holy Heroes requires the professional expertise of many people who share a passion for making inspiring and beautiful stories for your family. And, perhaps you can be part of our team, too! Click here to find out how.

Ken Davison writes some of the stories, edits others, and thinks up a lot of the products. In 2002, after some prodding by Brian Shields, he teamed with Jim Morlino to create Glory Stories, which became a weekly radio series heard globally on the Ave Maria Satellite Radionetwork and EWTN’s radio network, WEWN.

Jim Morlino partnered with Ken Davison to create Glory Stories several years ago. He produced, narrated, wrote and performed most of the original music, and appeared as many of the voices on those CDs. He now provides his creative input and voice talents to Holy Heroes.

Brian Shields produces Holy Heroes. He cut his teeth in the TV and movie world and produced the motion picture Therese (2003). Now, he’s turned his talents to the audio world with the founding of Lumen Entertainment and the creation of The Altar Gang about an overworked parish priest who gets help when God brings the objects in the church to life (which results in humorous stories with a lesson, plus a lot of catchy music).

Eric Genuis composes and produces the beautiful music behind Holy Heroes (he also did the music for the story of St Maximilian Kolbe in Glory Stories Volume X). Acomposer, virtuoso pianist and captivating performer, since 1997 he has been performing his works throughout the world in countries including the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, and Poland. Shana Buck researches and writes for Holy Heroes, and has also written several stories for Glory Stories. A homeschooling Catholic wife and mother, she also finds time to create rosary bracelets sold in the US and UK via www.sthubertsrosary.com.

Fr Juan Diego Brunetta, OP, provides the theological review of Holy Heroes. He’s the Director of the Catholic Information Service of the Knights of Columbus while he’s waiting for the newest script to arrive for his review.

John Webber, David Murray (www.dwmurraybooks.com), Caroline Spinelli (www.goodshepherdart.com), and Enoc Castaneda (www.enocstudios.com) are the artistic team who create the stunning artwork for Holy Heroes. All formerly worked for Disney Animation Studios in Florida. The combination of the visual beauty of their artwork with the sounds of the companion audio works helps instill the stories into the minds of children (and adults!) and develop a habit of always seeking the true, the beautiful, and the good.

Chris Osterhus keeps the website functioning smoothly and up-to-date. This includes figuring out how to do all these special deals, fit all the graphics in, and generally turn some of our “really neat ideas” into practicalities...usually overnight. Really. In a word: Indispensable.

Luis Baudry-Simón, owner of LB Multilingual Content Management translates the scripts and stories into Spanish, calmly withstanding short timelines and last-minute edits. He can be reached at luisbaudrysimon.googlepages.com.

Bill Straub wrote the Holy Heroes theme music you hear at the beginning and the end of the CDs. He also writes the music for The Altar Gang.

Emilio Gonzalez-Chavez narrates the Spanish Holy Heroes Special Edition: The Holy Rosary Joyful Mysteries.
