Holy Heroes
Helping you bring the joy of the Faith to your family

Holy Heroes is a family-owned apostolate loyal to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and not associated with any particular congregation, order, or movement.

To produce Holy Heroes requires more than our family, but the professional expertise of many people who share a passion for making inspiring and beautiful stories for your family.

Virginia: The eldest child, is finishing up college and writing many of the Adventure videos now. She also wrote the first "Inside the Sacraments" video for us and managed all the shooting days and re-shooting days and... Her first Glory Stories script was Glory Stories volume 8, "Best-loved Catholic Prayers and Prayers of the Mass," which she also directed.

She has written a Glory Stories script that will perhaps soon be recorded! She appeared as the young Saint Clare in Glory Stories volume 7, "A Sparrow in God's Hand."

Margaret: Handles most of the customer service phone calls and edits the videos for the Adventures and Mass Prep. Keeps the office running, too! Margaret has been the stalwart on-camera guide for several years.

Trey: When it's time for loading and unloading, Trey has become indispensable muscle. He also is at many of our conferences, with lots of advice to help customers identify the best products for their children.

Anna: The mainstay for many of our Adventure videos. Anna has appeared in Glory Stories volume 13, "Codename: Cocol -- Undercover for God."

Therese: With Lillian, in the first "Inside the Sacraments" DVD, she was the most-commented upon Guide! Therese appeared in Glory Stories volume 13, "Codename: Cocol -- Undercover for God."

Lillian: When it is time to shoot her lines for a video or audio CD (or the radio "Jesse Tree" series), Lillian is a natural who can record in one take.

Caroline: Soon, Caroline will be heard and seen in more and more Adventures and Holy Heroes products!

Ken Davison writes some of the stories, edits others, and thinks up a lot of the products. In 2002, after some prodding by Brian Shields, he teamed with Jim Morlino to create Glory Stories, which became a weekly radio series heard globally on the Ave Maria Satellite Radionetwork and EWTN's radio network, WEWN.

Brian Shields produces Holy Heroes. He cut his teeth in the TV and movie world and produced the motion picture Therese (2003). Now, he's turned his talents to the audio world with the founding of Lumen Entertainment and the creation of The Altar Gang about an overworked parish priest who gets help when God brings the objects in the church to life (which results in humorous stories with a lesson, plus a lot of catchy music).

Eric Genuis composes and produces the beautiful music behind the Holy Heroes Iniside the Sacraments DVD and our Glory Stories volume 8: Best-loved Catholic Prayers & Prayers of the Mass CD . He also has composed the music for all the Glory Stories beginning with volume X and every one since! A composer, virtuoso pianist and captivating performer, since 1997 he has been performing his works throughout the world in countries including the United States, Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, and Poland. We sell his CDs here on our website (the kids lover them). To see his concert schedule, go to www.ericgenuis.com.

Fr Juan Diego Brunetta, OP, provides the theological review of Holy Heroes. He's the Prior at St Catherine of Sienna Friary in New York City while he's waiting for the newest script to arrive for his review.

Caroline Spinelli (www.goodshepherdart.com) and Enoc Castaneda (www.enocstudios.com) are the artistic team who create the stunning artwork for Holy Heroes. All formerly worked for Disney Animation Studios in Florida. The combination of the visual beauty of their artwork with the sounds of the companion audio works helps instill the stories into the minds of children (and adults!) and develop a habit of always seeking the true, the beautiful, and the good.

Chris Osterhus keeps the website functioning smoothly and up-to-date. This includes figuring out how to do all these special deals, fit all the graphics in, and generally turn some of our really neat ideasĀ into practicalities...usually overnight. Really. In a word: Indispensable.
