A Little Catholic's First Rosary Book: The Joyful Mysteries Bead-by-Bead Picture Prayer Book

I have given away a few of the Bead-by-Bead Rosary books to little children who are brought to weekday Mass by their devout parents or grandparents who stay after Mass to pray a Rosary, and I wanted to replenish my supply. I'm retired and on a fixed income, so the sale prices are very welcome! The kiddies--and their surprised parents/grandparents--are always thrilled when they are given the book out of the clear blue. Also, we have free Rosaries in our narthex, so if I see they don't have their own Rosary to use, I grab one and give it to them with the book.

I was really nervous about starting to pray the rosary as a family with our three year old, but this book honestly has made it a breeze. The pictures are engaging and she loves following along while we pray. I can’t recommend this little book highly enough!

This book even helps me as an adult focus on the mysteries of the rosary. My young children will have them figured out in no time! I am also a teacher and will give them as first communion gifts and will read in the classroom sometime.

This book is perfect for kids to follow along with the Rosary and to teach it. Each bead has a picture. I like that the pages are a little heavier than typical book pages so they will hold up.

This is a beautiful picture prayer book with a spiral binding. I am a bit worried paves could get torn if used too roughly. Perhaps reinforcement at the spiral or thicker pages would sort that out? Perfect for children (or anyone!) because of its step-by-step visual for the Joyful Mysteries!

I love this book. I love the page by page. My only regret is that the pages are not reinforced, so I forsee many repairs in the future. But I am happy to repair it, as it is such a treasure for my children (6, 4, 3, 1, and 1) while we pray the rosary. I bought 2 copies, which is hopefully enough. Thank you, what a clever idea to have a picture for each rosary bead.

This is the second time I have purchased this book for a grandchild's first communion. It is so easy for children to follow.

Befana brought this for Epiphany. I thought my 3-year-old would be the target audience, but my 9-year-old is the one who swiped it up. She crawled into bed and said a rosary that night, and has said a rosary every morning AND night, on her own, ever since! She loves how the story unfolds with each Hail Mary, and how the words to the prayers are printed in the back of the book in case she needs them. Her little sister even joined in the other day! The other mysteries will be arriving on Ash Wednesday, Easter and Pentecost. Thank you for such an excellent product!

I just love these books! We bought a set for our Godchildren, saw how wonderful they are and bought another set for our grandbabies! Can't wait to use these books to teach the Rosary to all the littles in our lives.

I purchased several of these books for Communion gifts because they are such a great tool for helping kiddos learn and understand the Rosary. Each page tells about the meditation to keep you and your child focused and walks them beautifully through the mysteries. I absolutely love them.

My 5 year old loves looking at the pictures and the description keeps us pondering while we're praying.

Beautiful illustrations and simple text.

I wish the complete prayer had been included on every page. New learners have to keep turning to the back of the book to read the prayer. It becomes tedius for them.

We have the joyful mysteries and are looking forward to the Sorrowful and Glorious. I do wish the paper was a little sturdier to hold up to frequent use. We have already taped a page back together and one has fallen out where it ripped away from the binding. Otherwise a wonderful little book that helps my children follow along with our nightly rosary. Thank you!
